Lala is the daughter of a prominent judge. Unbeknown to her family, she is having an liaison with Ailin, their Guaraní maid from Paraguay. Together, the steal money from Lala's unscrupulous father so they can espape to the lush Lake Ypoá, where Ailin spent her childhood. However, when Lala's father is murdered and Aiin is taken into custody, Lala must unravel her lovers dark past if they are to be reunited. The film is a pulsating crime thriller that dramatizes the complex social inequities of South America. It's elliptical narrative is packed with suspenseful plot twists, each one shifting the balance of power, to illluminate another layer of corruption.

Leo is having a hard time coming out. Afraid of embracing his sexuality and with no on but his therapist to talk to, he one day runs into Caro, a girl he has not seen since primary school. Caro is also battling some personal demons, and together they form a close relationship which has a profund effect on both their lives. The debut feature from Enrique Buchichio, Leo's Room is the tender story of a young's man journey of self-discovery. The plot is simple, placing emphasis on the internal struggles of the characters.
