Spanish through the readings of Latin American writers
Practise your language skills through the discussion of stories, tales and poems of their most acclaimed writers and some of the newer and most innovative ones. Through the readings of Twentieth Century writers like Pablo Neruda, Mario Vargas Llosa, Isabel Allende, Eduardo Galeano, Julio Cortázar, Jorge Luis Borges and Gabriel GarcÃa Marquez, you will learn about these authors and their contributions to literature. Three authors will be selected and you will need read one novel (or some chapters), some short stories and poems. The focus will be on speaking, enriching your vocabulary and using the language creatively.

Spanish Course materials: you will need the novels and a dictionary. Additional materials will be provided.
